So... is it fair to say the Dallas game tomorrow will be one of the most important games for the Jazz over the last 2-3 years?

Considering the playoffs are on the line and we haven't been to the playoffs in 2-3 years then yeah, it is.

Tony Jones said exactly that. Biggest game in four seasons he said. Not sure what he's comparing it to exactly tbh because I would've erased such a crushing game from my memory banks.

wtf. Fivethirtyeight dropped our playoff odds from 89% to 59% after the Rockets beat the Lakers in Houston. That seems odd.

EDIT: Now up to 81% after the Jazz beat the Nuggets. I'm confused how our playoff odds decreased after today's outcomes though. Houston was a heavy favorite against LA and we were slight underdogs in Denver.

I think that swing was a combination of the Jazz loss and the Rockets win. May not have been updated in a timely manner.

So... Jazz beat Dallas and LA, they probably get the 6th seed, and would be no worse than the 7th. (Memphis expected to lose out to Clips and Warriors.)

If the Jazz lose to Dallas, they might end up tied with Houston, lose the tie-breaker and be out of the POs.

There's a 3-seed swing riding on this Dallas game tomorrow. It's basically a wild-card game to make the POs.

Close but not quite -- if rockets lose to minny and jazz lose to Dallas, we are still in with a win vs lakers.

Man, that Clippers loss is still eating at me (sorry for the negativity). Anyways, if they can contain whatever guard lineups Dallas rolls out; Harris/D-Will/Barea/Felton, I really like our chances even if Dirk and Wes go off.

On the plus side, we were only 48% favorites to win today, so we technically won a game in which we were not favored.

HOUSTON (AP) -- James Harden shared a private moment with Kobe Bryant after leading the Houston Rockets to a crucial win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.

Of course he congratulated Bryant on his illustrious career. But he also threw in a plea for assistance from the 18-time All-Star.

''On a side note I just told him: 'We need y'all to beat Utah,''' Harden said. ''We just need some help.''

Gobert to Favors pregame: If you're not feeling great, just don't play. We need you 100% tomorrow, don't be 50% tonight and 50% tomorrow.

Our frontcourt has to dominate Wes Matthews/Dirk/Pachulia and David Lee/Salah Mejri.

Also, 538 has Utah as 72% favorites tomorrow and Minnesota as 54% favorites vs. Houston. Those seem a bit high to me.
