That's very close, but I'd like to see actual space between the dude's foot and the line. I think that's a line violation if he's shooting a FT. But yeah, clearly beats MJ or Dr J.

Nice find.

May I present.... Enes Kanter.

IMO, Lavine is being underrated.
Ya maybe so.
Lavine is amazing. I actually think he is the more athletic and gifted dunker.
Gordon simply chose better dunks by a decent margin.

I think if they did a "horse" version of the dunk contest then lavine would beat gordon.

Felt like Gordon was the better dunker/performer tonight though and seemed obvious to me.
Felt like Gordon got robbed

The Gordon dunk that didn't score 50 where he went behind the head, then below the waist was a miss by the judges. Should have been a 50. One guy suggested that once there was a tie after the normal number of dunks, they should have simply had the judges each pick winners - guy with the most judges wins. Would have been a good way to handle it.

Even Karl Malone would argue that, Gordon, should've won. This was probably the best dunk contest of all time.

Agree with both parts of your post.
That Gordon dunk you referenced was definitely under rated by the judges.
Didn't look that great in regular speed but in slow-mo it was spectacular

FWIW, I too thought Gordon had the best dunks overall. Just that Lavine's dunks are being underrated in all the uproar over Gordon getting hosed.

Also I give Lavine credit for being very gracious afterward, giving AG major props for his performance.

Maybe this would explain Neto's poor defense. Lol

"It's hard," Neto said with a smile after his World Team had suffered a narrow 157-154 defeat in the all-star weekend's Rising Stars Challenge. "My game is playing defense, playing hard. But I don't want to look like the crazy guy, the only guy who's going to play defense. So I've got to back up. It's hard. I want to win the game and it's tough when somebody scores on you can't do anything. You don't want to look crazy."

Lol, I don't blame Neto for thinking this way, but this just makes me love Rudy all the more. He didn't GAF what anyone thought of him rejecting fools last year, because Rudy knows he's a badass in this league. Rudy does what Rudy wants.

Love Exum, but didn't think that he'd make it past Orlando. Had Gordon and LaVine as my homer picks based on athleticism and upside. Think both guys showed that off in spades last night. Have a feeling they're going to be going head to head on this for some time. Good to see.

Lavine and Gordon are fun to watch, but do they make their teams better? I don't think so, give me Exum any day

I think that Gordon can at some point because he's a solid defender too. Not sure about his offensive potential. Really liked him throughout the draft process though. Orlando is a mess, with a bunch of nice pieces that might not fit together as an actual team. I guess we'll see if they end up gelling together down the road.

Minnesota will be relevant because of KAT and Towns. Lavine working out (along with another lottery pick this year) is just gravy for them. Just read where they were interested in Tom Tibodeau. They have talent, but their coaching has been abysmal lately. He'd really bring an interesting culture to the Twolves as a defense first coach.

This pre-game presentation for the All Star game is top notch. One of the best I've seen.
You talking about the kobe Bryant thing?

Nah, I meant the cirque du soleil bit with the boy holding the glowing basketball.

Player intro part could have been done a bit better... too low key for me.

Neo's singing was good though.
I missed the neo part and the cirque de soleil part

Dang it
