KOC should do anything in his power to get a quality PG and draft picks for Millsap, Big Al and Harris. They are all attractive assets because they are expiring contracts. Let our youth gel together at get experience. Look at how OKC built their team, look at how the Wizards are building there team (They now basically have Wall, Crawford, Beal, Nene, Vesely, Singleton). If we can get a couple of quality picks and somehow get 2-3 lottery picks and somehow land Shabazz. I think we can easily win a championship. This is the formula to success. Our main need is a go-to scorer and Shabazz is the next Kobe according to many insiders.
 
Anyone who knows anything about Shabazz is that he will not be in a Jazz uniform even if we had the number 1 pick. His dad and entourage would make things very uncomfortable if the Jazz were to select him. He is amazing no doubt, but he will have some powerful handlers that will go loco if he ended up in Utah.

Honestly, you had to have seen Bazz play and develop to understand. Like PKM says he is MUCH more Kobe than barnes ever was. I never saw the killer instict in Barnes. Bazz has a ton of it.

Yeah? All I remember from the reports before Barnes showed up at UNC was he was the next Kobe. I won't waste my time pretending the reports on Shabazz are any better until we see him playing against better comp.

Then don't, that's cool. I never said Barnes was going to be the next anything. I'm also not convinced that Bazz is the next Kobe .. only thing I said is that Bazz is closer to Kobe's game than Barnes. Don't want to believe that? Want to wait and see? Cool, man. But your tone is coming off as awfully smug ..

I've seen Barnes and Bazz play. I never bought into the hype on Barnes, in fact, if you look at the board last year, I was literally the only person on here going against Barnes and saying he was garbage. I've bought into the hype on Bazz. I don't always know a lot about basketball, but I know who good players are, and Bazz is a good player.
