I will say, it's a lot less pressure getting drafted 22nd than going in the lottery.

He will outplay his draft position, no way he should have fell that far.

That being said, will he play right away on one of the top-3 teams in the East?

Bobby Portis is ****ing insane running the floor. Destroying Towns, and every Wolves player, in transition.

Towns is going to be a flop machine in the league. I had not noticed that in college... exaggerates every touch and contact, flails his arms around... horrible.

Oubre getting by guys and getting right to the rim, also being a factor with his length and energy defensively. Once he figures out his spots, he'll be good. Nice player. Finishes with 20/10 in his first game. Playing a bit selfishly though.

KAT reminds me of a more skilled/advanced Andrew Bynum

His game looks so much richer now. There doesn't seem to be anything he can't do... he passes and makes plays for teammates, attacks the rim, plays with back to the rim, shoots the midrange jumper... All-around great game. It seems like Calipari had him restrained in Kentucky.

Did anyone see Towns try to get position down low and ran into Portis? Towns looked like he ran into a brick wall.

I'd say something nice about Portis, but Cy is all over stealing that thunder. Portis looks very comfortable rebounding the ball too, and he's shooting from range like it ain't no thang.

Could easily be the backup center to Noah since Hoiberg is going to want to play faster at times.

He was really taking advantage of being guarded be a center like Towns who didn't want to go out and guard him. Towns left him wide open on a 4th 3 pointer that Portis missed.

Towns looks good. Very good rim protection. His man defense doesn't seem that good right now though.

TJ Warren still the man. He just drops 20 in every game he plays - that's just him. PHX needs to up his minutes in the regular season.

Pierre Jackson can plain fill it up. If he was 3 inches taller he would be a big time player in the league.
