Official Thread: # Jazz Draft Day 2018 #

Was it the Trey Lyles draft that the whole world expected a bunch of movement and it went basically in order? I hope this is not the sequel. I want lots of action, and I want my Jazz to conquer.

Reading this post and looking at your avatar straight after is pretty EPIC.

Where's the flood?

Dress shoes without socks is sweaty.

Manpries should not be a thing.

I will not be wearing a glittery jacket with bloucy hips this fall.

It's that high fashion look you see in Gucci catalogue that's starting to trigger down to the mainstream...

Yeah, what's up with that trend? It's better than the shorts/suit coat idea, though.

I'll just be glad when the draft is over. I don't care about it until we make our pick and someone tells me who I will now care about.

I liked him in the draft but his shot is bad... I'm not sure he's small ball 4... not sure I'd do 21 for him given that he's a free agent next year. Maybe I'm crazy... I know his 3 point shot started falling last year, but the FT percentage is soooooo bad that I think it's flukey. I think Riley knows he can't pay him next year with their salary issues.

I agree with all of this. I was a huge fan but have soured.

Donovan Mitchell is now the GOLD STANDARD of a great draft pick.

Can't tell you how many times I've heard "Who's gonna be the Donovan Mitchell pick this year?"

My final prediction is that we take Elie Okobo. I also wouldn't be surprised to see us take Grayson Allen. I think Huerter is the #1 target but he will be gone by before 21. If Donte D falls to 21, then I think we likely take him.
