Face it no one was willing to give up anything of value (to us) for a 2 month rental of Millsap. That's actually not hard to believe.

I'm not mad now but if Burks gets benched again then I will be. I'm just looking forward to the draft, it should be fun.
 
Welp, Trey Burke here come.

I'm convinced Clips wanted Burks along with Sap and Jazz declined. I'm ok with that but I wish we had moved Al for a bag of Doritos.
 
By not trading Millsap or/and Al, we will lose them for nothing in the offseason. Nice job done by the Jazz FO.

Looks like they are willing to overpay one or even both of them.
 
I'm a little disappointed, but I suspect the asking price was too high for Bledsoe. I would bet they were asking for Millsap, Burks, and a 1st rounder. I bet the Jazz were offering Millsap and a 1st rounder. There was probably a standstill at that point, with neither team budging. I can see why neither team would.

Other than that, I really saw no opportunity for a good trade. A good deal of y'all were just hoping Al got traded away for nothing, which was completely unrealistic given the narrative the FO has been consistent with all season long.

I still love this team, I think they are fun to watch, I think the majority of the board is whiney bitches I hope most of y'all quit watching and making annoying threads after every game.

I don't really mind if nothing was available, but it's hard to believe that zero positive return could have been had for either Al or Paul in the last TWO YEARS.

Jeffersap isn't free...Expiring, expensive deal (especially Jefferson). No one can absorb that except Orlando, I think, and why would they want to?
 
@tribjazz: Really not a surprise Jazz stood pat. They were not going to bring back a multi-year contract, add anyone who takes away from core four.
 
Why is everyone so sure that Burke will even fall to us? Or even that he will be good? Who cares about cap space? What are we gonna do with it? This was a huge wasted opportunity, and I'm pissed.
