You are assuming he would have signed that extension with us?
I think if he signed it with Houston, he would have signed it with us. We still would have had a couple nice pieces to play with him.

Dan Woike: Sources tell me the Clippers have kept to their word and are talking to teams today about deals. Always said they'd listen. Twitter @DanWoikeSports

Every day, every team without a real franchise player (which is, what, 25 now after the post LBJ league-wide catastro****?) wonders what their team would be like with a real franchise player. That should be every organization's first priority. You get them by either:
-being aggressive on the market (a la Houston, whose single-minded fury and patience to get a real star finally happened after years very publicly trying and which isn't the way the Jazz work at all)
-being invested in acquiring young talent (generally via the draft, and commonly requiring bad seasons along the way) AND giving those players opportunities.
The Jazz model of reactionism, shrugging, refusal to give up anything in a deal, and essentially complacency with good but everything short of great veteran talent won't put you into contention. Ever.
blah, I dont think bledsoe is gonna happen.
Yeah I am starting to wonder if anything will happen that is Jazz related. I am feeling that they will stnad pat.
