OFFICIAL: Trade Deadline Thread

Marvin has been a big disappointment for a few reasons. First and foremost I think has been how badly he's been used. He could be better if he was used more. Having said that, he hasn't been very good. I was at the season opener and he actually played really well, had like 21 or 22 points and some good rebounds. At his salary he is just awful for us. I didn't like the trade when we got him, but I was hopeful...too bad.

Jesus. You Patsy's throwing in the towel on a trade are a sad bunch. If they don't make a trade we need to march on ESA. And throw KOL into the streets. We are going third world on their asses.

If Ainge can pull off the Rondo/Howard deal and land Bledsoe and Jordan he should get GM of the year. I hope Garnett holds firm on his statement that he won't waive his no-trade clause. Maybe the Clippers then turn to a Bledsoe/Millsap deal.

I think the problem with Marvin is what separates or differentiates him from Carroll -- he lacks fire, which Carroll has in spades, and this is why he hasn't and probably never will play up to his potential. When a person has no drive, no matter what their endeavor, they will not succeed, or at least succeed at a high level.

Which one? I think the Garnett deal makes a ton of sense.

Clippers lose with Garnett because he won't be able to keep up with the pace of that team. Also they don't have any froncourt depth. If Garnett injures himself, that's a career ending injury and they don't have anybody to back him up.
Boston loses because they were already a good defensive team, but terrible offensively. Jordan just widens those two ratings even more and he is only good if he has a PG feeding him all the time. You basically can't let him handle the ball at all on offense. Bledsoe is good for Boston, but he hasn't exactly proven that he can run a team on his own.
