I am a Ute fan through-and-through, but at least I can be realistic about my team. And the Utes are not a basement PAC-12 team... middle of the road? yeah, but not basement material. In the few years since we joined the PAC-12 the recruiting has picked up and so has our ability to compete. We've done our part to make the PAC-12 look good.

I don't think Oregon is making the cfp this year. I guess we will see after this game.

Listening to the radio guys here in PDX, they are singing a different tune today vs Monday.

Monday, it was all, "Utah is good, but no match. They can't handle Oregon's run game. Oregon is too explosive. Blah, blah, blah."

Today, it was, "Utah has a great defense, Booker is incredible, Oregon has holes in their defense, going to be a tough game."

It's great to see attitudes change when a little research is done by these guys.

Will Oregon win? Probably. Will it be a blow out? Probably not. Can Utah win? Absolutely. Should anyone be surprised if Utah wins? Nope.

Don't read to much into that. You know how teams always say the pc predictable thing.

If oregon were playing unlv they would be saying things like "we are going to have to play our best" "we can't look past these guys" "they are going to bring it".......etc etc cliche, cliche, cliche.

I'm not saying that utah is not up to the challenge. Simply saying that you shouldn't listen to what teams say leading up to a game to get a feel for what they actually think.
Teams rarely say what they actually mean. They are all coached on what to say in front of a mic

Don't care that much about local football. So these few games I get to talk trash and rile up a few over confident Ute or BYU fans when they play Oregon I take advantage.
