Official UofU homer thread

Williams to Patrick is going to get more and more potent as the season moves forward. They seem to be developing great chemistry.

true.

I think another receiver needs to emerge, though. And I think they need to let Williams run more. ...At least that's my prescription for the "next level".

also, I'm not sure why, but it's slightly embarrassing that nearly every damn play has to have some sort of flare/misdirection.

Little concerned with the lack of pass rush tonight

That is an experienced group on USC's front line. On TV last night they had the most starts combined as a unit than every other team in the country except bowling green. That may have had something to do with it. Also on quite a few Utah got there but couldn't tackle the QB. Should have had at least 3 more sacks than they ended up with.

that was a special game last night. you know I was impressed with the USC quarterback, making his first career start on the road in a hostile environment he looked pretty sharp, I was waiting for him to make a mistake late in that game and he didn't. their biggest mistake was a ineligible receiver downfield on that huge play where they gashed us brought it back, than we forced them to punt. Hey Darnold looks like their QB of the future.

tim patrick has been a pleasant surprise this season. yesterday i was reading a magazine and it ranked our receivers dead last in the pac-12. think patrick is making his case as one of the top receivers in the conference.

sweet revenge on cameron smith

He hit him on the shoulder pad. Since when is your shoulder on your back?

It definitely looked just below the shoulder pad to me. Close either way. I think I would side on it not being a block in the back due to the angle he flies after the hit. It's definitely more to the side of his body.
