BYU fans have probably always called Ute fans classless. They say it with their arms crossed, lips pursed, and whilst shaking their head and feeling superior as human beings -- as if that weren't the least cool thing to do ever.

The only thing less cool than that is actually being a Ute fan.
 
Holy **** people. NOBODY is blaming the loss on the refs. I'm the closest person here to doing that and I would only put 10% of the blame on the refs. There's no doubt that The Utes got hosed on a few calls, but that's going to happen.
 
When the Utes have a good quarterback, you get 2004. When they get a pretty good quarterback, you get 2008.

But they don't have that, so here we are. /thread

We deserve to get razzed for this loss. We were already looking forward to conference play, I think. We came in unprepared and made a lot of mistakes. Gary Anderson has done great things with USU, and deserves credit for keeping the pressure on with the blitz. We lost. Plain and simple. Next week will be very telling. I'm not going to make a prediction. I didn't feel good about this game, and I don't feel good about next week. But we all know anything can happen when it's Utah vs. BYU. Should be a good game.
 
I no longer have a dog in this race (until USU plays BYU) but for anybody who thinks that BYU is going to roll all over Utah next week I would suggest they think again. I think the Aggie win last night was a combination of a bunch of things, least of which is USU is actually better then people give them credit for. It would not surprise me to Utah come out and play a great game against BYU and come away with a win. Once they get the qb thing figured out they should be a very good team.

A little side note, I was very impressed with how cool Utah fans were last night. Even after the loss they showed a ton of class and every other Aggie fan I have spoken with says the same thing. So kudos for that.
