Also, getting into a bigger bowl than the poinsettia would be nice.

I think sometimes the offense is being used as a scapegoat now...
That defense couldn't come close to stopping USC at anything. Running, passing, inside, outside, short, long... USC and AZ St. have done literally anything they have wanted to do on offense with little to no resistance from the Utes.
Even if that offense were more potent that defense isn't good enough to keep you in many games in the Pac-12. Especially against the run where Silas Red would get 5-10 yards per carry.
Utah's conference/scheduling situation is light years ahead of BYU's. But I'm not seeing the recruiting edge at all. Utah has some work to do this offseason.... Both offensively and defensively...
