Okay, ******, I've asked this before, but

I really like GH. I think either Barnes or QMiller are better SF's, easily (blast, don't care). I also think Burks is a 2, period. Spot minutes at PG, maybe, but a 2.

Bottom line. I think it's great to have players that can cover multiple positions on the floor (I really do), but it RARELY works to, in reality, play them outside of their obvious natural position. I think Burks is a SG, GH is a SF, and Sap is a PF. None of them may be a perfect fit at those positions, none of them may be all-stars, but it's what they are .. and they're good. Let it be and continue to build.

I'll agree to disagree with you on Hayward. He's as big and athletic as Barnes, shoots as well, handles better and defends as well. I'm not convinced Barnes is a better SF. I also think Hayward can play SG, and he had his best minutes at that position last year. If Hayward has to guard a bigger player at the SF spot, say Lamar Odom, Kevin Durant or Carmello Anthony, it might be better to rotate him to SG, assuming the Jazz have someone else to guard those bigger wings.

Fair enough. I think the differences are negligible. I just believe that, three years from now, Barnes will be the more coveted player (NBA-wide).

The questions at the 2 and 3 don't need to be answered right away. Not even this season. This year will be Tys opportunity to experiment a little.
 
Millsap shouldn't play SF more than 2 mins per game, and that 2 mins is the last 2 mins if we are ahead by 20
 
Because everyone loves Millsap and doesn't want to see him get crappy minutes when Favors takes over the PF spot.

I am open-minded (not on all things, but this, definitely), but GH seems, to me, like a FUTURE stud SF, not SG. Is this whole thing trying to cram a round-peg into a square-hole? Or am I just way off on how I see GH's future in the NBA?

I'm not sure I've seen one person write that our future relies on Sap being able to play SF. I have seen people write that his future here does as we have legit bigs with much more length like Favors, Jefferson and Kanter, Jefferson's flaws and the other's youth notwithstanding.

Hayward can't hit some of the shots Barnes hits. Hayward can't really do that 1-step dribble pull-up with anyone on him like Barnes can. Hayward is a better spot up shooter and passer, but that is it.

What you meant to say is he couldn't last year. There is no reason to believe it isn't some he could add to his game. With Hayward's reputation as a gym rat, I expect he will add whatever is necessary to improve his game.

Count me as one of the people who think Hayward best position is at the two. He can't play the 3 expect when facing Durant, Carmelo or Lebron.

And he can't play the 2 when facing Monta Ellis, Eric Gordon, and Dwayne Wade.

Maybe Hayward at the 3 works better if Favors is playing PF and can give him better help D. Also I think Hayward will be able to work the Pick'n'Roll to attack most SF's. I don't like a Hayward, Millsap and Jefferson front line. It is just too small to rebound and defend effectively.
