OKC or San Antonio?

The Spurs would put out the Jazz in 4-5 games, whereas the Thunder would put the Jazz out in 5-6 games. I think the Jazz match-up better with the Thunder than they do with the Spurs. If the Jazz are going to go out, I'd like to see young vs. young rather than old vs. young. I hate watching the Spurs play.
The thing that worries me about OKC is that Perkins really locks down Big Al.

Well, its looking like the Jazz will be playing the Spurs (the least popular poll choice) in the opening round of the Playoffs unless they choke or the Spurs rest their players. I'm not optimistic about this one, but maybe the Spurs will have a bit of a struggle against size again. I'm not holding my breath. I'm interested to see how Hayward and Favors in particular do in these games.

Just for the record, at the first of the season, when you and the other win-now-at-all-costs/future-be-damned crowd were throwing your little hissy fits over the Howard and Tinsley signings, I was praising our FO for not selling out our future for the sake of a few extra wins now. They could have easily done so, and again at the trade deadline, had they been willing to take on some longer contracts. This season was NEVER about going as far as possible, so much as fielding a competetive team, while more importantly, looking to the future. It's true that I would have liked a couple details to have turned out differently, but so far, our FO has done things pretty much the way I said they should at the first of the season. I've always said our best case scenario was keeping both picks, while at the same time maintaining a winning culture. This team basically came one or two games away from that scenario, and even though it didn't work out perfectly, I'm quite happy with our FO.
As for knowing who's right, it's probably a good idea for you to start making excuses for being wrong now, since we know you won't have the guts to show up and eat crow if the team is fighting for an 8th seed again next year.

Agreed. Their big men pose a lot of problems for us down low. They have 3 defensive bigs in Collison, Perkins, and Ibaka.

Nice job making **** up. Show me a single post where I threw anything resembling a hissy fit over Howard or Tinsley. I liked both of the signings from the beginning and I've mostly liked both of their contributions (with the major exception of Howard's self-centered performance last night).
I don't understand what you're saying. Now you're saying that the FO did exactly what you wanted them to, but you're not happy with the results. You can't have it both ways. The Jazz fielded a competitive team that ended up being talented enough to make the playoffs. I don't see how you can be happy about all the decisions they made getting to this point and then unhappy with them making the playoffs.
As far as eating crow, if the Jazz are fighting for an 8th seed again next year, that doesn't prove anyone right or wrong. If the Jazz don't improve next year, it's unlikely to have a damn thing to do with whether they have another 14th pick rookie on the team. Don't forget that this was your only argument here ... 8th seed in playoffs vs. dropping out and taking our 13-14th pick. Since you agree with everything else apparently that the FO is done, this appears to be our only point of contention on this issue.
I don't see how you can maintain the position that this team rises or falls on this pick. The team might progress next year. I think there are signs that they will, but you never know. There are a lot of variables that go into a successful season and having a good roster is only one of them.
I will say right now that if the team is in the same spot next year, it doesn't make you right since I don't believe one #14 pick would have that much sway.
