OKC @ SLC - Utah Jazz Game - 7:00 PM MST on FSOK, ROOT, ZONE

The Jazz have the worst fans in the league: they just pulled out a hard-fought win, everybody played great, their best big had a poster on Durant, their best wing had a career night... and all they got from the fans is whining and calling them losers. You guys are just pathetic.

The real Jazz fans he still didn't digest the two finals lost against the Bulls! The Jazz fans is ambitious and don't want that this franchise risk to become as the Bobcast, Kings, Timberwolves and so on...

If we get Jabari or Wiggins we could make the definitive quality leap....the only pathetic thing is to let that recommended clown of Corbin earning his contract extension.

It is getting ridiculous. Every win spawns at least 3 doom and gloom threads for the franchise.

What's ridiculous is that there are still people who prefer these types of wins which only take us further away from obtaining a franchise player. Beating okc without Ibaka and their main engine, Westbrook, isn't anything to be proud of. In the end, it means absolutely nothing other than killing our chances of getting a much needed star player.

There's a huge difference between drafting at 9 or 10 and drafting in the top 3.

How did our other players do guarding durant?
Could favors have done worse? Maybe durant would have scored 80?

Also who in the thunders lineup would guard kanter and favors? Plus we were trying to run clock and play slower

Are you really asking this? I understand that we want Kanter to play but there are 0 coaches in the league that play A post player like Favors against Durant 1 on 1. Favors would have fouled out so fast trying to stay in front of him. And we needed Favors rebounding and rim protection with all there quick guards on the floor. Our "other players" didn't do that bad. He only hit three 3 pointer and shot a poor %. He is the league leader when it comes to getting to the line. That is were he got most of his points.

Durant on the other end would be able to guard Kanter just fine with his length. he would have fronted and dared us to throw it over the top.

The Bucks understood it very well...I could see them become the new OKC if they draft Jabari or Wiggins.

When in doubt play the vets right?

How about jeremy evans in place of marvin or jeffy? Not vet enough?

LOL. The thing is I agree with you. I want Kanter to play, I want the youth to develop, I want the Jazz to get a top 3 pick. But if your a coach who's job is on the line when it comes to how well you coach I have to say Corbin got this one right. Playing Marv and Jefferson against Durant was the smart coaching call.

Actually I agree with you.... just pissed that the core 5 played about 20 seconds together total.
Marv and jeffy are ruining this season for me.

Loving what I'm seeing from the young guys, just want to see more (I'm greedy)

I love the Jazz and I love every win, but the wins seem so much sweeter this year. Must be coming in here after them and seeing all the butt-hurt, pusillanimous, self-righteous pricks whine about how we won.

lol

This franchise is so stupid.

You have the opportunity this year to finally draft yourself a replacement for John, Karl, and Duron and you blow it. Now we are going to be stuck with drafting another role player (probably Hayward's replacement) and we will be back to square one. Apparently we enjoy being stuck at 11-8 in the west.

Even Chicago recognizes the opportunity this year and the need to find a franchise player. And they're a big market who doesn't need to depend on the draft! LOL

I'm hoping to get a top pick, but, honestly, what do you all expect the Jazz to do? Pull out the starters and play the scrubs if we are ahead in any game? I don't think you can try to lose games, so for games like tonight, you might as well go along for the ride and enjoy yourself. I was at the game and couldn't help myself, I enjoyed the hell out of it.

If the FO is serious about tanking, the solution is not to try to lose games, but to deal veterans, like Jefferson and/or Williams and give the reigns completely to the youth--even then, we can't guarantee that they won't pull off some winning streaks here and there. What do we do in that case? (By the way, why couldn't Marvin Williams be part of our future? He's a solid player that can be a good complementary piece on a competitive team. I'm not so sure that the FO doesn't see him as a potential LT piece.)

It's a fine line the Jazz are trying to walk. In the process, they're gonna win some games, for better or worse.
