this morning Dave Miller the Laker's color man and former assistant coach said about Jeremy Lin "He's put those gaudy numbers against really bad teams. We'll see how he does against good teams." Ouch.

Now that he's been getting some pub and may have an actual scouting report on him, his numbers may come down as well as LA can always just stick Kobe or Barnes on him for the majority of the time.

The team that just beat HIS Lakers?

This. Once he attracts attention, his numbers will come back down to reality.

I watched Lin play the Jazz, and I have watched a bunch of highlights.
I was mad at how the jazz played him, but this kid looks for real to me.
He torched Deron and Deron spoke highly of him.

His numbers might come down, but I think he is legit.

My only questions is, why havent' I heard of him before? Why was he buried on NY's bench?

Oh, and I would love to see Fisher try to check him

The fact his numbers will go down is obvious. He won't end the season with 25 and 10 average. But I've seen him play, and he's legit. He reminds me of Steve Nash.

He got some attention in the summer league two years ago, but no one every thought he'd be this good. He has flaws, no doubt, but he has a very quick first step and can get to the hole. Plus he plays the two-man game very well. He looks legit, and when you have more weapons like Mello and Amare, his assists should be even better. We'll see, but he looks legit.

Wow, thank you Lakers for making Lin look like a Superstar tonight. Suddenly the Jazz look so much better.
