My wife is 21 weeks pregnant and I finally get my boy, Kaleb Thomas. That makes 3 girls and 1 boy.

He was not planned and we were taking concrete actions to prevent any future pregnancies. He was meant to be I guess.

Congrats! And 'Kaleb' sounds like a priest who turned into a super-villain after losing faith in God. Which is really cool.

Congrats! I am not planning anymore either but if that happens it better be a boy....

Congratulations. Have you been snipped yet? I strongly recommend it.

That is part of the steps we took to ensure no more pregnancies.

She had a partial hysterectomy (they removed one ovary and not the other as we were told it never produced eggs just the hormones). She remained on birth control the entire time. She had a 4 week down time with no intimacy after the surgery. 1-2 weeks after that I got my vesectomy. She got pregnant a week(ish) before my vesectomy...

Kid was meant to be.

Atta Boy. I'll help create 15 girls(in two octomom batches of course) first when I get married if that's what it takes to get a son rolling out.

I feel sorry for any future daughters you have after that statement.

Don't be. They would be the beneficiaries of good stock. Make the Kardashian sisters look like inbreeding polygamists by comparison. They'll be strikingly beautiful enough to make up for their daddy not loving them.

Wow.

I guess that's the meaning of life for girls?

I'm obviously joking. I know plenty of guys that wanted boys, but when the girl finally popped out, it was the best thing that ever happened to them. I imagine it wouldn't be that different with me. Blood is blood. But look, I've got nieces that are 4 or 5. And they talk about farts a lot and deep stuff like that right now so we're friends because I'm an expert in those things. But I know once they hit 11 or 12, we probably won't talk for the next 20 years just like I would describe my relationships to my Aunts as weird at best. They'll absolutely love whomever I marry though. It's just the way it goes. My unlces? Still thhe same as ever. We are talk about sports, we crack on eachother, we go to games together, etc. I imagine parenting isn't that different in that sense. My neices love their mom, my nephews clearly like their dads better. My sisters and all the girls I knew growing up were really close to their moms.....and pretend like their dads don't even exist most of the time. And that was before cell phones....I can only imagine now.

So yeah, of course I'm hoping to get at least one kid that pops out with a basketball in his arms, a surfboard on his feet, and a hiking rucksack on his back.

Stoked's boy is going to be a ballroom dancer though.

Girls that are closer to their moms than there dads? You live in bizzaro world my friend.

well congrats Stoked!

and the problem was that you needed a VASECTOMY - where they snip the VAS DEFERENS - - I'm not sure what they snip in a VESECTOMY...

Maybe you should ask for your money back
:D

Congrats, man. I hope your future child is healthy.

Also, can I ask what you do for a living?
