What's new

Our Utah Jazz @ The Sacramento Boom Bitches, 3/29 8:30 PM Mountain

Foot on the gas. I want them to blow these chumps out of the water and crush their spirits. Pretty nice when your best player (Gobert) is playing the best basketball of his career thus far going into the playoffs. Compare the stats from his first 20 games this year to his last 20 games this year. It gets even more impressive when you single out his last 10 games and his last 5 games. Guy is a monster. Clearly the X-Factor for the Jazz. If they can get any sort of major contribution out of Favors, Hill and Hood. . . they could be special.

X Factor typically denotes someone who isn't one of your best players. The Jazz x factor would be Hill or Hood.

I see it more as the outlier. Rudy is that. I agree that Hood, Hill or Favors contributions might more typically fill that role, but I think that Gobert has the potential to be REALLY amazing in the playoffs and vault this team into dark horse contender status. Traditional X factor is probably Joe Johnson.

Agree to disagree. I see it as an unknown variable, usually someone who has a wide range of performance quality. Gobert is much too consistent to be that.
