What's new

Owners still throwing money around like "drunken" sailors!!!

I laughed so hard when I read the reports on this. 7 million. Oh my god.

But seriously CJ, this has no relation to the Utah Jazz. General NBA.

No, I refuse, I'm not gonna do it.

The only thing interesting (but not the least bit surprising) is that you don't know how to use quotation marks.

If they wanted someone to play some D they could have signed Fes for like a 1/4 of that.

Minnesota would like to ask everyone if $5 million for Darko is still a bad deal? The way things are heading, I think not.

Is there a chance that all the drunken sailors will have spent their cash by next week and leave a few bargains for a clever GM like KOC?

The new CBA actually requires teams to spend more money than the previous one. For the next 2 seasons the minimum salary-floor is 85% of the cap - which then increases to 90% following the 2012-13 season. The previous CBA only required teams to spend 75% of the salary cap.
