Well while your glossing maybe you should remember one of those seasons was not a full season ...

He's played almost exactly 2/3 of his games as a Clipper (regular season). Not great, not terrible, but he's 34 now. I'd be a bit worried about, say, a 4 year max.

Steve Cleveland (coached him) and PG have a good connection. Maybe that could help. Also Butler has some Utah ties.

Maybe we can have the washed up allstars join forces with team Ozempic (Lofton, Sensa) and Markkannen and we can have something.

He’s old, but I would LOVE to have Jimmy Butler on the Jazz. Dude would definitely come in and be the Alpha from day 1. Would love to see what that would unlock for guys like Sexton and Markkanen.

I think you’re right, but I also think that Ainge wants stars (even if they have baggage) and both guys qualify. It would be up to DA to sell it. As long as the Jazz keep Markkanen, I’m open to just about anybody.

Yeah 2 aging stars starting to wind down rarely equal a franchise player capable of taking anyone to the promised land. Needs to be a bigger splash.

I think if they can dump Collins and Clarkson, they would be able to sign a max guy and extend Lauri to near max.
