Paul George

Hill-Mack

Gobert-Withey

Maybe we could get Gibson back as well and start him.

Let go of that dream. Butler isnt available to anyone besides the Celtics.

As I see it now, Paul George is the only realistic star because his value is lower due to expiring contract. Everyone else is just dangling their goods to see what Ainge thinks about them.

Butler's contract is so effing good you have to throw the kitchen sink at the Bulls for him. This is a hell of an opportunity and I think Exum, Hood, Favors, three 1sts in this draft (the Bulls would then have four) and a 2019 1st would be really tough to pass up if you're the Bulls.

It would be easy to pass up because Boston is offering the Nets picks and their 1st round pick.

The reported hold up in that deal right now is that the Bulls are asking for Crowder and Ainge is playing hardball. The Bulls arent going to budge (as they shouldn't). Ainge will have to nut up or go home. Bulls arent going to just deal Jimmy if that doesnt work out though. They can just revisist it in the Summer, no need to rush trading him. That asset wont start depreciating until next year sometime.

Would much rather have Butler. Don't want to re-team Hill and George, and Butler has a much better and longer deal.

I'd offer Hood, Favors, Exum, the OKC 1st, GS 1st, and our unprotected 1st in this draft. It's still probably not enough to get it done but that's two damn solid players and a possible big upside guy in Exum as well as three draft picks in a killer draft. I'd probably also consider throwing in a 2019 1st, slightly protected.

Nevermind the kitchen sink, use the whole ****ing kitchen...

Right. But we'd be offering two additional 1sts, three players all of whom have value, and be taking back a bad contract. The question is just how much value those players have to Chicago.

If Boston says no, I may have to consider that if I'm Chicago.

Chicago is in no rush to trade him. Do you not get that? He is only available if someone can offer a top draft pick ,like Boston can. IDK why it's hard for you to understand that 1 five star asset >>>> a bunch of ok assets.

Chance at Markelle Fultz > A bunch of OK assets while you are in the midst of being bad for a couple of years

I do understand that. What I also understand is that there is no guarantee that the Brooklyn pick will be #1 or even #2 for that matter and that even if it was guaranteed, that there is no guarantee that Fultz will be the Messiah for the Celtics. Furthermore, I understand that players have different values to different franchises and that the Bulls may really value Exum, and/or Hood, and/or Favors as maybe not only future core pieces but also as assets that they could flip for more 1sts. But yes, it's Fultz or bust and having four 1sts in the deepest draft maybe ever is worthless. Favors is worthless. Hood is worthless. Exum is as well. As is dumping that pain in the *** Rondo.

The Bulls arent looking to trade Jimmy for anything less than a top 3 pick.

Going along with this, there isn't a huge need for Boston to make any trade either. Odds are, they aren't beating Cleveland and GS. So, they can wait until the season ends, get feelers out to Gordon Hayward and see if he wants to sign there. If they feel they can get Hayward, then they keep the picks, draft a great player, add Hayward and move forward.

If it looks like Hayward is staying in Utah, then they make the trade with Chicago.

There is no rush for Chicago to do anything.

Disagree there. There is a lot of pressure on Boston to make this trade. Look at Cleveland w/ Love having injury issues this year. There is a window to take advantage of Cleveland this year, getting home-court advantage and beating them in the playoffs.
