Jefferson definately shouldn't be playing that much on a gimpy ankle. And yes, with the schedule being what it is, I'd like to see Favors and Kanter get more minutes when they're playing well. Right now, it seems like Ty is giving them only a certain amount of playing time, regardless of how they might be affecting the game.

so true. even if they play well and sort of dominate the game, ty seems to be trying to do everything to avoid them getting more playing time. seems like it doesn't matter if jefferson is not back on his level or millsap being exhausted. same with burks. kid can play as well as he wants, seems like it doesn't matter at all and that really makes me sick. he can outplay bell or hayward or whoever on this team, seems like ty doesn't care.

You would'nt have said that 10 days ago. Watson was looking really strong. Though I agree with you now, I believe Corbin needs to play the better producer each night whoever that may be.

Nope, I would have. I have solidly stood by Harris > Watson. Harris is a career starter, Watson a career backup. I would like to see Harris get more minutes to try and develop better chemistry with the team, and better flow to his game.

Burks for sure. Kanter's minutes are sometimes low and shouldn't be.
Would like to see Tinsley in for Harris for a few minutes a game.

I think Kanter tries harder than most and runs more than most.

No doubt, I'm impressed by his motor. But this is a compact 66 game schedule, he's a rookie, and he's a huge huge body.
I'm just saying that if you give him more minutes, towards the end of the season, he might bog down.

He's averaging 14 minutes a game. Wearing him out isn't going to be an issue. Sap and AJ getting worn out will be.

There have been several games where Harris was the worst player on the floor. Based on what I saw, his sucking was primarily about him being a ****ing wuss. That may have caused some "chemistry" issues... but those were secondary.

You just love being the contrarian.

Harris has sucked. period.

Favors- he has all the ability in the world, but is not going to get any better with inconsistent minutes. Does he always deserve more minutes? No. But, come on he was the youngest player in the league last year and has shown improvement when given the opportunity this year. I think there are many more games like he had against Philly if given the minutes and he can stay out of foul trouble.

I think the problem is in his head. I'm worried about the kid. I think Ty would be more consistent with him if he were doing anything consistently well. He's responsible for being more consistent than he's been. nuff said.

Pretty harsh, but somewhat fair .. I guess. It's fairly obvious, I think, that Favors lacks a killer instinct. He makes up for that by using his explosiveness here and there .. I'd like to see him just get pissed and want to eat children for breakfast, but I don't see it. Having said that, he's got the upside that clearly warrants more PT.

Look, I'd like to see him play 28-30 minutes a night. I still hope he's the next great thing. But, for the past 15 +/- games he's had his dick in the dirt. He needs some kind of victory, and he needs to ride that toward some consistency.

I'd guess that he's been inconsistent in practice, too. Right from the beginning of the season Ty was LOOKING for an excuse to pass him the torch. He dropped it, and he's been sulking about it instead of building another fire.
