Players only meeting.

Lmao dude really be posting about black people being abused by cops and him getting called an old white dude while playing basketball in the same post.
I didn't expect you to comprehend.

Bad things happen when you treat people differently based off of the color of their skin. Whether its as irrelevant as a pickup game or as tragic as police brutality, it all needs to be addressed.

Lebron should leave US, go to Somalia, Mali, Kenya or something and show us how to build a society.

Those countries already have plenty of people/corporations/countries draining the wealth out of them. Why add Lebron to that?

We treat people differently based on their height, musculature, gender, gender performance, voice timber, weight, mobility, age, accent, clothing, ... and race. Every single person alters their interaction based on all these factors in every conversation. What we can do is recognize what our reactions are, change our habits, and try and be better models for others, especially for our children.

To pretend we can avoid seeing any of this is counter to human nature. It's a way to sweep the issue under the rug. It's taking the easy way out. It's meaningless lip service. You might think you are saying something profound or important, but what you are proposing is to continue having the problem and for us to ignore it.

Let me clarify then - when you treat someone as inferior, or superior, based off the color of their skin, its wrong.

At the end of the day, isn't that the whole intent of black lives matter? Minorities are tired of getting treated unfairly. People can't agree with that then say its okay for dark skin guys to bully light skin guys at a rec center.

Just treat everybody with the same level of respect.

Showing respect to others is a way of demanding respect.

I refuse to show respect for someone who is unworthy of respect. He is an embarrassment to this fan base and forum as he cyber-bullies, calls people names, and now called someone a racist.

I raise my kids to treat every single person the same. Be nice to everyone you come across. Calling me a racist is a line he shouldn't cross.

People like Cy cheapen the world we live in. We shouldn't sit by and watch him wrecking ball people all the time on this forum.

Nope, not racism. There is no such thing as reverse racism. There is no empirical evidence of reverse racism. It's just something angry white people made up to try to keep their power.

ANY comment degrading someone based on race or skin color is by definition racism. When you bring skin color into the fight you cross a line. If you want change, don't cross the line.

Kenny Smith said it was inappropriate. I concur.

I wouldn't defend calling people racially motivated names. I certainly wouldn't say that it is somehow not racially motivated.

It doesn't compare to shooting someone in the back 7 times from point blank range. Absolutely true. We should be outraged as people. There is history that cannot be dismissed. But if we are going to move on then people need to not cross the line. PEOPLE, not some group of people as defined by skin color. Not white boys or African Americans.

Respect. Don't cross the line.
