Regarding the Netflix thing... about a week ago I was still able to use it. It would ask me to sign into PSN two or three times, would fail each time, but then let me watch stuff anyway. But for the last week, when I get to the stage of actually picking what I want to watch, I hit "play" on a movie or show, then it asks me to sign in again, fails, and tells me I need to be signed in to watch. Weird. And annoying.

I got the update today, but still got the maintenance message. I'm in Chicago, looks like they haven't gotten to us yet.

I guess they found an error that they are working on. I guess only the new PS3 slims are able to download the update.
