They defended okay with Millsap and Jefferson. Those teams were very poorly constructed for defense though. Raja Bell started 33 games. Devin Harris was the pg. Hayward and Favors were young. Earl Watson. CJ Miles. Josh Howard.

Yet Corbin still had them playing 19th in the league with that trash, and since everyone is forgetting, he still somehow squeaked the Jazz into the 8th seed.

I'm pretty sure that's what I wrote. Maybe you were drunk and didn't follow the convo. Corbin didn't play "sub-par vets" and try to win in the year he got fired. It was the previous years.

I'm surprised how many people put the blame on anyone besides the Front Office when they were the ones who signed vet free agents to play over raw, developing young guys. You really believe Corbin was supposed to play Alec Burks, etc. those years and lose games? Nonsense. If they were supposed to lose then the FO would have done what DL did in the tank year and even this season.

I defended Corbin probably longer than anyone but you. I was not really part of the #fire99 team. I always thought they could do better than Ty, but I didn't think he was a bad coach. At the end though, I was just ready for something new. I like Quin, I still have faith that he will be a great offensive coach, and I think he is already a great defensive coach. I think he has a chance to be a special coach, but I am wearing down a little with the team overall.

I think we might see a big trade with one or two of the players that a lot of people love involved. I think the Front Office will take a big chance on winning big. Who knows though, maybe they will stick it out with the current group and one day get a three seed and maybe go to the western conference finals before rebuilding again with another new coach and group of players.

I was simply saying that he didn't need to try to win games during his last season. The fans were fine with losses and actually wanted them.

Instead he tried to win games anyways and that failed too.

He pretty much just sucked all around... For each team he coached.

Which is why it makes complete sense that he no longer coaching.

Okay, gotcha.

But why did the FO bring in a point guard when it was clear they were a Phili dumpster fire? They started out the season 1-14 and were on pace for Andrew Wiggins. Then, the FO dumps Play Teh Vets Ty's veterans and signs Diante Garret as backup to Trey when he returned from injury. Trey, at the time, was a fan favorite rookie with a lot of potential. The FO needed to sell tickets so Corbin played him way too many minutes per game instead of the FO selling the rebuild and needing Trey to learn from the bench under Jamaal Tinsley and JLIII.


You put this on Corbin. Tell me, why did the Jazz release Jamaal Tinsley on November 12 and sign Garrett on the 13th when they were the worst team in the league and headed to the #1 draft pick?

Those are some good questions. They probably should have traded away their picks in the burke draft if they could and rolled with tinsley and JLIII.

Though maybe they thought an undersized rookie and a d-leaguer was tanking hard enough.

Quinn all smiles after getting his *** kicked. Yeah I am done with this guy. Total lack of the talent he has on the team. Guy doesn't seem to care much about the Utah Jazz getting screwed over. Fire this bum

Another double digit lead blown, another close game lost. But yeah, it's not the coaching. It's the players. Snyder deserves better players than this bunch of bums. We're not worthy.
