Pleiss

We wanted Tomic for a specific skill - passing. Not sure we bring over Pleiss unless he can pass or shoot.

If he actually wants to come over it's not like we're losing a lot to give him a shot... Might as well, right?

Yeah... He was going to come over this year. He might be a big stiff, but he can't be worse than Cooley. His price tag will reflect the downgrade. Not sure what we can do contract wise but a 3 year deal at $6-$9M total wouldn't be a bad get for a guy who is productive in the 2nd best league in the world and is entering his prime. He would be playing 15 minutes a night max unless there were injuries.

er, if i recall, he is unhappy on his team because he is backing up tomic. who's to say that coming over here he won't be upset backing up a guy who is even younger than he is in gobert? while i always go for an unknown making a name for himself and becoming a story, i can't help but worry about his attitude here.

He looks really skinny. No shoulders.

Anyone that speaks Spanish better than me want to let us know if there is anything good said in the video? At least we learned Tibor speaks English.

oh how stupid of me you're right I didn't know pleiss was a European superstar - we better not let him get away then otherwise the jazz will be the laughing stock of the league. I still contend that the jazz could do better within the current NBA, but who knows how someone translates to the NBA. I just think you guys always think the grass is greener on the other side - ie because of the success of a number of players from Europe that all players will be a success. If he is so good why did the jazz bother chasing Tomic, clearly because they have a higher opinion of him. Anyway it's pointless expressing an opinion with you guys as you are so biased in your views you get offensive when someone expresses an alterative view. Maybe you lot are also the ones that think Neto is the next Stockton or Magic Johnson purely because the jazz drafted him. All I'm saying is that there are no superstars in waiting currently playing in Europe that I'm aware of, that's not to say that some of the younger ones can't turn out to be superstars. I don't follow basketball in Europe, but even I can remember the buzz that surrounded Rubio when he was at Barcelona.
