I root for the young players to play well and add dimensions to their individual games. That's what's most important.

Uh huh. I mean, what does ROTY and Manning's season have to do with football? Sorry for introducing these extraneous bits into your rock-solid statement. Mah badd.

You know **** if you actually think RG3 is going to have a better career than Luck and if you actually think the Colts would have been better off going with Manning for a few years rather than Luck for 15.

Rooting to win because its too late to tank. Whats the point of rooting to lose now. Its too late. We can't lose enough for it to do any good. I'd rather get the 17th pick and make the playoffs than not and get the 14th pick.

This.

Damn. I just repped you

I think it's a given that we all want that to happen. ALL OF US wants that.

What I meant in this thread is - right at the end of the game. If it comes down to Mo hitting a free throw to win it or lose it - which outcome would you be most happy with?

My current view at this state of the season is I'd rather we lose. Because there is a higher chance of Ty getting fired if we lose than if we'd won.

Again, getting rid of Ty = getting the top pick this year (for me).

Hey, Gyp, why did you need a new account if you're just gonna be the same dirtbag?

1. Manning is better now and will be for the next 3 years. That's a long time in football.
2. As per #1, no player is a lock for 15 years. So, you make wild and funny assumptions.
3. Anybody who assumes the RG3-Luck debate is over and that Luck won needs to get the noggin examined.

I'm not sure what Gyp is (all I can think of is some other user) but let me apologize for being a "dirtbag." Bad day today.

Having said that, you clearly know nothing about football and I'm too exhausted to get into a debate on this.

Well did you hear how optimistic Lindsey was after the trade deadline about our team? His words were "we did not make a roster move, because we feel we wanted to give this group of guys a chance to WIN - they deserved it".

I think losing the remaining games would go some ways in determining how he brings back that same group through free agency.

Because team officials are always so honest in what they say to the media? Because if this team does turn things around and start winning, that would be no proof that it can turn things around and start winning? What's your point here?

Alright guys, it's that time of year where we're once again looking at the 8th seed and wonder to ourselves "Do I want to root for the Jazz to win or to lose the remaining games?"

Win
- Never say die attitude
- Creates a winning culture

Lose
- Get a better Lotto draft pick
- Potentially get rid of Ty
- Potentially get rid of Jefferson
- Potentially get rid of Millsap
- Potentially get rid of Foye
- Potentially get rid of Mo
- Potentially get ride of Earl

Alright guys, it's your call, what's it gonna be?

I would argue we were able to accomplish 6 of the 7 things off that list...

..... Plus one other thing... "Trey Burke".
