When Gobert is on the floor, the focus will be on defending the 2/3/4, not the 5. They are likely to de-focus on Rudy and leave him alone at mid-range and slack towards the basket for help D on Favors, Hayward and Alec. Will they try to keep him away from the rim? Sure thing. But very dubious that opposing defenses focus on Rudy in a big way.

Try reading the rest of the thread and the many other posts that debate, support and clarify the one you are quoting so we don't have to hash and rehash again and again.
 
Rudy will end up putting up between 11-13 points a game. He'll get some easy baskets but won't be a huge focus on offense. I think he can get 12-13 boards as well
 
Isn't Gobert supposed to be playing today?
