If this were a game of football, and Lillard was a quarterback, he would have had 250 yards rushing and 250 yards passing using the same read option play. Over and over. And the jazz would've been there, with ish dripping off their lashes all night.

One's out and one isn't getting minutes (due to Burks addition) and suddenly we have Hayward as our really only respectable defender on the perimeter. The Jazz were leading the league in defense coming into this game despite the great defense of Exum and Millsap not being out there. It was one game. McCollum and Lillard couldn't miss. Probably shouldn't jump to too many conclusions.
 
Portland must be a good team. The had 10 more turnovers than the Jazz, shot less than 50% from the foul line and still beat us by 16 on our home floor.

Playing against some of the worst offenses in the league. How many times did you see a team do that to us during that second-half of last season?

My favorite was when CJ lost his dribble, picked it back up while fading away and drained a jumper in Burks face. That was when I really knew it was over.

hard to say we shouldn't jump to conclusions while you quote a stat with an n of 3.
 
Mccollum sure would look nice on the jazz.
