What's new

Portland Trailblazers @ OUR Utah Jazz TODAY at 1900.

What do you want for 10 mil a year. Superstars?? that are 1st team offense?

He's talking about the overall influence a player has on the game, when players score and it causes the opposition defense to adjust and opens things up for other players on the team. Burks seems like a player who picks up points but it doesn't necessarily cause the other team to worry about it

And my question is does that mean he's overpaid?

His points are worth less? Like when he made that and one you didn't think we might turn this thing around.

When haywards bricks one do you think "that'll get us going". So much stupid ****... I'm out on the jazzfanz for a while.

Pretty much.

When Hayward makes a shot, I get the feeling he is going to get going and make decisions with the ball that will also get others involved.

When Burks gets it going and starts going to the FT line, I like it, it really helps us stave off these runs, but I dont get the feeling that it will lead to anything bigger, to any kind of team awakening of offensive execution. I mean, that is why he is on the bench as our 6th man.

That game was awful to go to. No energy from the team which lead to a pretty dead crowd. Way more boos than cheers. There was no major run that we really went on.

Favors had to be sick to play that poor. Rudy didn't seem as dominant but that might be from Portland only scoring with guards.

at the moment yes, in the new market over the next few years no. It's a good piece to have someone who can quickly put buckets up but to me he's not yet an all round player. Defensively he can be a bit dim.

LOL please everyone re-read this post after realizing that Burks is on the floor closing games, and was the driving force behind the runs in the 4th quarters in this loss and the loss to Detroit.

Yet cy says he's good for staving off runs, it's totally *** backwards, and would'nt ya know it, fits in with the narrative he's been trying to miscast on Burks here for years..

Just finished the game. What the **** was that? Such an awful and frustrating game to watch. So ugly.

So Hayward sucks so far this year.

Sent from the JazzFanz app

It was very predicatble as he has had a bad season every other year since he started going to Butler. Hope his game inmproves this season but I wouldn't count on it.

Gordan Hayward:

Minutes 38
FGs 7-20
REBS 2
Assists 0
Steals 0
Blocks 0
+/- -19

30 y/o Monta Ellis is overpaid... 24 y/o Alec Burks is a good contract.
