We don’t know that. I generally don’t subscribe to that logic, but when it’s a team that’s directly been in your way in back-to-back years, it changes.

Hell no. We don't need Gordon with Conley and Tucker isn't good enough to enable the Rockets getting Butler. They're already better than us, why make it impossible to beat them for poor fits?

Jimmy Butler has already had problems with teammates. Paul and Harden don't get along. I think adding Butler to that locker room is great for everybody in the west except Houston. Butler is going to enjoy sitting around watching Harden dominate the ball? Paul can barely stand it Butler would be a volatile guy added to that already troubled locker room.

PJ Tucker is overrated. The only thing he really provides is 3 point shooting. He's in the PERFECT system to show off his best skill. I would bet money that if he ever leaves the Mike D'Antoni system he will quickly fall out of his next teams rotation. Plus he's 34.

Eric Gordon is becoming less efficient offensively by the year. He's also a smaller two guard, can't seem to stay healthy, is bad on defense, and doesn't provide much other than scoring. Getting him would mean replacing Favors with him and being stuck in a tough spot at the 4.... no thanks.

Plus we just traded a bunch of picks away. I'm not a fan of trading more unless it's for a major acquisition.

Wow, do the posters underrate Tucker and Gordon. They are both very good players. I don't see where Gordon had one of the worst years of his career. I don't know about the stats, but he is a borderline All-Star and Tucker is very solid on both ends of the court. In one playoff game this year he made 4 three's in a row against us.
