again i'm talking about guards under 6 ft. You really don't think somoene 4-5 inches shorter than Tony Parker is eventually going to be not as effective at the very highest level of competition ?

I don't think of tony Parker as a short point guard. I think if Chris Paul as short, Isaiah Thomas is short. Those dude are six feet or under. Parker is 6'2"

Parker is listed at 6'2 on ESPN.

According to DX the average height of PG's measured at the combined is 6'.59'' (all those guys dont make the NBA though)

Parker is the definition of average height PG.

And Parker "leading" the Spurs is debatable when Duncan and Ginobili were equal or more important leaders.

Yeah, I was about to post the same thing as Cy. Parker is about average height for a PG. Not sure why he's being used as an example here.

As for short guards leading their teams to a championship, the only thing Isiah Thomas is leading anyone to is his pot of gold. Just don't steal his lucky charms.

All other things being equal, a taller player is generally better at basketball. However, not all other things ARE always equal.
