Prayer At July 4th Festivities Given In Spanish

I have to agree with the above posters that ENGLISH SHOULD BE LEARNED! We will not tolerate Spanish. I mean, I just can't understand what they're saying. Plus, yeah, they might have a different language and culture, but I want them to have my language and culture. And hopefully they throw away their culture in the process. Being American is all about being religious, speaking English, and eating hot dogs. If you don't like that, then GET OUT! Thanks for reading,

As you can see, it doesn't take much for people to get upset up here in friendly cache valley. This is front page news in the paper and almost every letter to the editor published has been about this over the past week. Nothing but a big yawn fest if you ask me.
 
No entiendo que es el problema. No es tan importante que alguien hable el ingles.
 
I am continually amazed at the intolerance of man.
 
Now if it had been a Brit, with a bloody thick accent, then I'd have my knickers in a twist for sure. After all, the 4th is about our independence from England.

In regards to Spanish, well I think the outrage is due to the whole illegal immigrant mess we find ourselves in due to the almost non-existent borders.
