They ran one draw play on 3rd and long, a play that either comes off as "genius" or "moronic" depending on whether or not it works. I'll trust that the guy getting paid millions of dollars to decide these things thought it was a play that would give the bronos a better chance to win and wasn't just scared of winning or something like that.
I dont remember a time they should've gone for it on 4th down and didnt. Remember, they were very aggressive in going for it on 4th down right before half instead of settling for a FG.
You are probably thinking of the draw on 3rd and VERY long when they had to get like 20 yards. In that case it makes sense cause they are thinking about field position.
I remember a 3rd and 10 and a 3rd and 9 when i thought they should pass but they ran.
I had a party at my house and i remember alot of comments from different people talking about how the broncos seemed to be playing too conservative.
