Predict your 1st round surprises on draft day?

Every year a few NBA teams in the NBA draft would jump the gun or make a reach and select someone they could've gotten in the 2nd round. Leaving the media, experts and fans puzzled, thinking what the heck just happened... ? Some of the reaches were great and others were just plain bad. So what are your predictions in this upcoming draft in the 1st round?

Aside that, in your opinion who were the best and worst 1st rd selections?

My bold predictions in the NBA draft;

Myles Turner gets selected at #5 by Orlando

WCS gets selected at #12 by Utah if Turner/Kaminsky/Lyles are all gone by then

Luis Montero (JUCO) gets drafted in the 1st rd but most likely getting drafted on draft night whether it's 1st or 2nd rd

Dakari Johnson and Joseph Young goes in the 1st rd

Andrew Harrison gets drafted by Utah in the 2nd rd

Looking at the draft now, I'll say that Andrew Harrison, Dakari Johnson and Luis Montero (Yes, that JUCO player) would all sneak into the 1st round.

Who? Yes, exactly. I've been keeping tabs on him and surprisingly he has worked out with NBA teams. He's quite young and got potential to be good. In the mock draft @ NBAdraft.net he is listed being draft by the Pacers at 43rd. Keep an eye on him.

Well I will say it will certainly be a surprise to me if he is drafted at all, much less the 1st round. If so, expect a heavy amount of reps. Truly a bold prediction.
 
Payne goes top 10 since mid majors are all the rage with Curry winning the chip this year.


Turner and/or Oubre go before Winslow or Mudiay.

If it isn't the the 1st round, it'll surely be the 2nd round. No way that a team passes up on him. Or he could just end up like Taj McDavid? lol
 
Willie Cauly -Stein sliding to the Jazz ......Jazz getting a chance at the best perimeter defender in the draft and pairing him up with arguably the best interior defender in Gobert
 
Kevin Looney tumbles. Don't know why, but I just have a feeling he will.

Pat Connaughton gets drafted at the end of the 1st round.

I agree. Looney tumbling will be a surprise. Even more surprising is Connaughton sneaking in the 1st round. Teams do like him a lot. It just might happen.
