Predicting the Jazz draft

Time for an off-the-wall projection. I think the Jazz are going to slip quite a bit...all the way to #9/10. The EC is bad; Utah is only 2 wins behind Detroit (the 9th seed). In the WC, LA Lakers are done. Kobe will be back, but that team is no better than .500 without him. And Sacramento is about equal to Utah. IMO, it would take injuries for Utah NOT to slip considerably,

#9 - Vonleh
#25 - Warren
#39 - Ondrej Balvin (draft and stash)

Jefferson would be a good pickup in the 2nd round, but I doubt Lindsey brings in 3 more rookies PLUS Neto (hence my draft & stash). I look for DL to go out and pick up a FA who can come in and start a la RJ (but hopefully a step up).

I also see the possibility of swinging a trade with Phoenix (the #9 and #25 for the #13 and #18). That puts Utah in the position of getting whoever drops a bit PLUS McDermott.

Your définition of "off the wall" is strange.

on the app. square bizness.

**** it, Jazz are getting Wiggins. Don't care what you haterz say.

On my mission to become a BBall profit.

Jazz will get a top 3, not because they suck, but because they win the lotto.

Book it!

Man, if the Jazz slip outside the top 5, they messed up BIG time. I would rather the Jazz kept Millsap, Foye and gone after a backup PG and made the playoffs then sucked it up for the #9 pick.

Lindsey keeps talking not skipping steps...

A #7 pick is skipping steps and puts back squarely in the middle.

1st pick will be Parker (if he enters), Wiggins, or Aaron Gordon depending on where we land.

2nd pick will be Doug Mcdermott, Nik Stauskas, or Adreian Payne (stretch 4, although I firmly believe Kanter has 3 range, I believe we'll target a stretch 4, or at the least a 3 pt marksman like stauskas).

2nd rounder:
who knows at this point.

My original prediction was that the Jazz would pick Exum at 7. Now, I'm president of the Gary Harris fanclub.

Gary Harris is a 6'4" 2 guard who can't hit the 3 ball at the college level. Burks is our driver/iso weapon, and he has actual size for the position. Gotta say I don't see our F/O wanting Harris.

Pretty sure our priorities are:
1. BPA
2. Wing
3. Stretch 4
3b. 3 pt marksmen.
