Better time? He's played well in every role basically all preseason long.

Just a really good showing by him. Let's hope he builds off it.

They are not mutually exclusive. Trey has looked really good this preseason. But I think the Burke/Burks combo off the bench went extremely well.

Granted it was against a very depleted Nuggets team so we will need to try it out in some games to be certain.

Alec had a fantastic preseason. Led the team in assists, took less shots than almost everyone in the rotation yet still averaged a good amount of points, rebounded well, didn't turn the ball over much, and played good defense.
I think pre season showed that he won't be NEEDED at the one since trey and neto played well. If those two start to suck though, I feel happy knowing that alec looked just fine running things so far

Yeah Alec was damn good on offense. It was the defensive side were he was sub par IMO. He moved the ball well. I didn't think he would be a good fit at the 1, but after this preseason I think the Jazz are in good hands playing Burks there for decent mins.

I just don't get how you can put some of us down for having concerns and just say "lol overreaction" when A). No one was really overreacting to "just preseason" we were talking about issues that have always plagued this team and B).Our feeling was obviously reciprocated on some level by Snyder since he changed the starting lineup for the last game and went out of his way to say he was treating this as a regular season game.

Alec best at being the guy who can get buckets when everyone else is stalling or can hit a shot. I like him as a 6th man who can come in if the game is getting out of hand for the starters and provide a big scoring burst. I just wish Hood was more of a ball mover, I swear he became more ball dominant this off-season.

This is you diminishing people on the site who are actually attempting to contribute to the basketball discussion. As a mod who claimed that you mod to see the community grow, I find it contradictory the way you react to poster's attempting basketball discussion just because it's not dripped in views of homerism and complete optimism.
