What's new

Preseason Game #2: OKC at UTAH

Marvin Williams seems willing the lay back and be a complementary player. It'll be interesting to see what kind of numbers he puts up.

Can burks please make a foul shot!
And can Hayward and favors please make some shots from the field!

It's good to see the Jazz being aggressive with 31 fouls shot (only 21 makes). That's a big improvement. But 1 pt and 4 rebounds in 19 mins ain't gonna cut it for Favors, despite his blocks. I don't see him surpassing Millsap for a starting position. I fear he's been mostly hype. Even CJ had a few great games here and there.

The Williams' brothers were great additions to the team. And I LOVE the faster pace. That can be a real advantage at home. Teams flying in to the high altitude are going to be gassed, or will have to use more of their bench. Either way, Jazz should be able to take advantage.

Kanter >>> Favors so far in the pre-season games.

Agreed, and that's actually really good news. We expect Favors to get it together, and a lot people weren't expecting anything from Enes.
Kanter has shown improvement on both sides of the floor.

And I'm not that heartbroken over the Jazz having to give up Maynor. He's not all that impressive. Also very glad KOC didn't draft Aldrich.

go easy on Hayward. He got off to a slow start, but he's made his presence felt in this game, and a big part of the jazz regaining the big lead.

Hey, when are we going to see Roger Braille? Any one know what's wrong with him? I know Millsap and Tinsley are excused and Watson is hurt. But Braille is getting another DNP-CD (wink).
