What's new

Proud to be American - and proud President Obama is OUR leader

Wow. What an intelligent post.

And we wonder why our country is in the state that it's in?

he dances on the grave of 911 victims. he anounces a speech after weeks of a crisis.
that he is gonna have a strategy. f16 bombimg from air is not a strategy. telling the world and including enemie(s) what you are unwilling to do.
yes great speech from a public relations standpoint.

but for dancing on the graves of 911 victims by using the eve of 911 to score a public relations speech makes him a ****head.

and this injustice is the fault of the usa.
so they need to clean up their mess.

every historian knows you cant just overthrow a tyrant/moarch/dictator just like that.
there is a process involved, or else **** get ****ty.
the whole middleeast is the mess of the western world.
randomly drawing up borders and putting in heads of state.

back to the point OBAMA IS a ****HEAD. and when you have a ****head who is full of hot air. and comes with ******** public relations stunts and qoutes and prhases. this is the state the country is in.
not because of some guy living in the Netherlands hating on him

Where's this in the constitution?

Fight injustice? So basically, you're agreeing to a perpetual state of war? And how do you fund endless war?

Look up the first Barbary War

The Constitution is a framework for our nation that is rooted in the English common law tradition.(as opposed to the more prescriptive continental European tradition) Obama has this authority because of precedent. He has this power because every President since Jefferson has had this power. An act of Congress or a decision from SCOTUS could strip, redefine, or otherwise modify it. As we stand today though he does have this authority.

That's my understanding anyway

I'm curious, has Dutch ever unveiled his vast military service record?

you guys are underestimating those aerial attacks as well as the capacity of ISIS troops in close urban combat.
Their asses have been handed to them along with some 72 virgins owing to those bombardments.
Kurds would have been overrun like 3 times were it not for those bombs!
But still I would not want to send infantry against them for they are master foot soldiers.
Very disciplined and professional those ISIS operators are.
I'd be wary of Chechens, Turks and guys of mongoloid stock. They are not like your average arab.

I remember a taliban form Turkey who was wounded in clashes against US troops. He patched his own wound with no morphine.
add-on: Dutch and I are former colleagues. We first met in Lan.ley, VA.
U know.
Now, everybody give me your addresses so that I may erase you, thank you.

Look, I know everything there is no know about urban warfare, I have played 5 version of call of duty, including black ops, and set records among my clan/team/friends in 3 other FPS games including bunny-hop kills and pistol kills in sniper games. I think I know what I am talking about.

Um, what were we talking about?

A current estimate is that this groups troop total has risen from about 10,000 up to 20,000 31,000. Plus the huge amount of military gear and finances they have. Such as the Syrian airfield and Iraqi army bases they captured full of war planes, tanks, humvees, missle trucks, helicopters...

Also reports are that they bring in over 2 million a day on the black market.

This group is not your average terrorist org. This is a whole new animal. This is a terrorist army. Troops on the ground will be needed to beat them. But they should be Syrian, Kurdish, Iraqi, Turkish, Iranian,Jordanian, Saudi...troops. Have America cover the skies and have other nations like Russia, Germany, France, Britian and China provide material support to their army of choice. Like Russia and China proping up the Syrian and Iranian armies. And France and Britian the Kurdish and Jordanian armies.

Hey maybe if we can get them all infected with ebola, we can use one plague to cure another!

Sorry but I don't buy it. If you were from a military dictatorship I doubt they'd just let that slide.
