I don't know any survival horror games without much gore but there is a game coming out that's more of a psychological thriller that's called Beyond: Two Souls. I don't know if that would interest you at all tho.

I'm not sure. It's coming out on the PS3 right around the time the PS4 comes out so I'm sure they'll port it over. And with those uncharted games, once Gaikai is done then you'll be able to download them.

You know, it really would behoove Microsoft to point out that the PS4's Gaikai service sounds a lot like what they're doing for their current-gen titles, and yet Microsoft are the ones getting all the bad press for it, while Sony is escaping scot-free. Sure, Sony's not doing it for current-gen games (yet) but the principle is the same. Even if you own a physical copy of, say, a PS2 game that's also on Gaikai, you'll need to pay for the game again. And once again you'll have a license rather than the game itself.
Oh well. Sony just has way better PR at this point. I'm not complaining, it's been fun so far to watch Microsoft bumble through this whole thing like morons.
Looks like we've got different tastes. For me, the gameplay is all-important and story is a secondary concern at best, plus violence doesn't usually bother me. But as folks have been saying, the Uncharted games and Last of Us are probably pretty sure bets for games with good story and a cinematic quality. Someone had also mentioned Heavy Rain, that's the ultimate story-focused game.
Also, have you played Mass Effect? Hard to go wrong there. You can get all three games for $40. One cool thing about that series is that some decisions you make in one game actually carry over to the others.
Yeah man, I'm more drawn to a story driven game ... big fan of nice graphics & atmospheric worlds.. not a big fan of violence/gore...
Got lots to go on here, can't wait for PS4 to come out!!!

Well PS3 is currently about $200? But PS4 is only 5 months away and the minute PS4 comes out PS3 will be worth nothing.
So I'd rather save my money and wait for PS4...

All the games you've been recommended are for the ps3 anyways? Why be excited for the ps4 to play ps3 games? Are there upcoming releases that you actually have your eye on?
Getting PS4 means I'm future proof though right? I can buy new games in the future to play. If I get PS3 wouldn't I just be stuck with old stock?
Tony mentioned Beyond: 2 souls, that he thinks will be released on both PS3 and PS4? Also hopefully Hard Rain, Last of Us, etc, will be available on Gaikai thingee magic.
