PS4 vs. XBOX One

Welp, now the PS4 and the XboxOne offer pretty much the same console.

... but PS4 is still $100 cheaper.

XB1 does seem to have the advantage as a full multimedia experience, something Microsoft will push all the harder now. Problem is, I still think they've misread how many people actually care about those features. Some people will, for sure, but I know I don't.

Microsoft just hasn't been making good decisions or design choices lately. Two of their last three PC OSes sucked (Vista and Windows 8, though at least they had Windows 7 between), and then they did this XB1 thing. Apparently their market research just blows, and/or their execs just aren't plugged in to what the average consumer wants and cares about in their tech.

Gotta find the web developers one too. Honestly, he is one of the most passionate CEOs I know of. If you have something against microsoft, I don't think it should be because of him.

BTW I'm also looking at getting a new laptop.. and with Windows 8 and it's issues, I'm gonna get a Mac.

Exactly. I just don't care about the multimedia options. I care about gaming first and foremost. I don't care about connecting my system to my FB account etc. I get that XBox 1 has some nice exclusives. Still not enough for me to spend 100 extra dollars on. Right now I have a PS3 and a 360. The 360 collects dust. Different people are going to prefer different things. Some will love Playstation while others will love XBox. One good thing is that the consumers slapped XBox into now offering something at least comparable in terms of used games and internet requirements or the lack there of.
