PSA: NBA Africa game is about to start

This thread has truly gone off-topic (Did anybody actually watch the game?).

But I'm glad it's given us a chance to discuss an important topic (I'd ask to move this thread to GD if it wasn't the off-season).

I think Utah is one of the few places in the country(world?) where the color of someone's skin isn't that important. Sure the dominant population is white, but the majority is overwhelmingly accepting of the minority and I think that is something special.

Utah is a weird place, embrace it!

Good post. Years back, a guy from Alabama joined my crew at work and was pretty surprised to find out that we don't have many black-vs-white issues in the state. He was even more surprised that our working environment was a harmonious mix of not just blacks and whites, but quite a few other races as well.

Like you said: Utah is a weird place. Embrace it.

Oh look, another thread in the jazz (insert any ****ing forum really) forum that's turning into a game about race/politics in an attempt to discover who's the more morally sound being. Which I might add does nothing to actually improve any situation except to give the so called victor a nice big smug smile on his face and his rests his delicate little head on his pillow at night, able to sleep soundly due to his perception of destroying his verbal combatants.

Want my opinion? We're all ****ed anyway with people like that being the majority of the next generation.

Aww, now I feel superior after saying that, thanks guys.

/sunday morning rant off.

How does anybody respond to NcoloradoJazz anymore?

On a side note I love that if you have a person on ignore you can't see their post when it's quoted anymore.

My father, who in real life was neither racist nor homophobic, would occasionally tell jokes that were - and he didn't think poking fun at stereotypes was offensive. Guess it depends on the crowd, and especially on the race and/or orientation of the person telling the joke.

**This is NOT SAFE FOR WORK and contains words that may/will offend some people** George Carlin puts the strength of words and their meaning to great elegance. He nails it in this clip if you guys want to listen. If you haven't heard George Carlin's comedy before and you are okay with the questionable language (which i totally am) I strongly suggest you listen to this.

Since that video was posted above, can we now post pron vids so long as we give warnings that there's sexual acts in them that could offend some?

Please advise.
