What's new

Question, I'm not forsure how to go about this?

I happen to know from experience that the cop knows if your car is registered just by punching your license plate number into his computer. My tags were a TINY bit over (13 months) and the cop was sitting across from me at a stoplight. He ran my front plates, waited for me to pass, then pulled me over.

Moral? Take off your front plates.

Funny side-story: I failed to pay my ticket on time and they issued a warrant for me. I went to see the judge and he tacked on approx 200 bucks to my ticket. I set up a payment plan (because that's how I roll, yo) and forgot to make the third and final payment. Another warrant was issued, and when I went to see the judge, he sentenced me to FIVE DAYS in jail. Keep in mind that my record is spotless, not even a traffic violation. Hooray for the South Jordan Justice Court!

Moral? Pay your stupid $45.00 dollar tickets. On time.

Anyone besides me think that the moral should be 'register your tags' on time?

Yeah, the Utah justice system is pretty much ***-crazy. They take "The Broken Window" theory to a 'probably unconstitutional' level.
