Question Regarding the DLeague

I don't know the answer to this but is it possible to send Beans and Rush to the DLeague to get the rust off and get them back in playing shape? I know the baseball minors does this and I thought the new Collective Bargaining Agreement allows this. It appears to me that both are a ways from being in playing shape and contributing.

Here is a link to the top DLeague players according to the NBA website. Malcom Thomas got signed by the Spurs yesterday. He was the leading scorer and rebounder in the DLeague.
