Quin Snyder's "Character Crucible" - toughness, grit, passionate...

I was reading this article about qualities they are looking for in the players they draft.

During Thursday night's NBA draft, the Jazz front office had a piece of paper with a list attributes they were looking for in their picks. The list, which they called the "character crucible" included: toughness, grit, passionate, love of the game, unselfishness, communication ability on and off the court, competitiveness and intelligence.

#1: I see why the Jazz drafted Donovan Mitchell. My first impressions are that Mitchell has the Utah Jazz DNA.
#2: I see why the Jazz were willing to trade Trey Lyles. Hate to pile on the guy after being traded but I just didn't see that toughness/grit/passion.

This year: toughness, grit, passionate, love of the game, unselfishness, communication ability on and off the court, competitiveness and intelligence.

2 years ago: Can anybody walk this tight rope?

Quin has all those degrees and he lists "passionate" instead of "passion" among the nouns? Shame on him. Deduct one degree.

I like this list, but I'm worried we draft Tim Tebow next year.

I dont think Quin is that much that way. This is still the coach who got caught banging one of his player's GFs in a closet.

Wonder if he has a little crazy to him that is not manifesting itself right now. Like he seems to be over it, but like if Hayward tries to leave will he blackmail him with naked photos or have mob guys kidnap his family.
