Quotes from the Nuggets forums - "Jazz on 27 to 3 run."

I wonder if someone in Denver is doing the same thing using quotes from JazzFanz. Their fans would have gotten a kick out of the posting on our game thread during the first three quarters of the game. It was entertaining reading the day after.

And I also love these threads after the games. Thanks.

This Nuggets hype is just that, hype. They are not that good.

What? Just because we beat them doesnt mean they arent good.

They are going to stomp a lot of teams because no one is going to be able to guard them. They just have to play better D and get some PG production out of Murray and Mudiay.

With Mudiay and Murray, you don't even need to call it "PG production". Denver is cool because they're so inverted in terms of play-making. They are going to win a lot of games.

They can't play better D. They were the worst defense in the NBA last year and did nothing in the offseason to improve that defense. They are going to be saying ole on defense all year. They are an 8 seed at best.

Did nothing? You know they added Paul Millsap, right?

He's not the defender that he once was. And he's not going to completely change their defense by himself. Their other offseason moves were offense oriented. Trey Lyles, Tyler Lydon...

Yes he is. He was a great defender last year in Atlanta, one of the best in the NBA. Taking out Gallinari and adding Millsap is a huge defensive upgrade. Please stop acting otherwise you lose credibility.

When Denver is still one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA in couple of months we'll discuss this more.

What's there to discuss?

They were the worst defensive team last year. I said they need to play better D. You say they can't, which makes no sense, because they added a top defensive talent to their team. They can only improve, at least relative to the NBA. You ignored facts to make a unsubstantiated claim.

An 8th seed in the West is still a damn fine team, possibly the 10th or 11th best team in the league.
