Quotes from the Pelicans' forums-"The offensive juggernaut that is Rubio could not be stopped"

Very important stuff @Darkwing Duck.

It isn't. And I appreciate all the work that JazzAvenues puts in. But there is no need to keep expanding the features on these threads. Better keep it to opposing fan threads. Maybe a separate section at the end with a few quotes from general NBA fans.

While we are complaining, I would prefer that JazzAvenues break down how long each poster has been a fan of the opposing team. A post from a lifelong salty fan just means so much more vs. a fair weather fan. Come to think of it, many lifelong New Orleans fans are Jazz fans. So make sure we get that broken down too.

Or better yet, if you don't like his threads, take a few minutes to read the opponent team boards.

Why do people hate man buns so much? When you got long hair, it's kind of necessary to tie it up when doing athletic activities.

And Gobert is the king of the illegal screen.

He is, for sure. I just wonder why he gets away with it? I think he knows the rule VERY VERY well and he knows how to ride that line and the refs know he knows where the line is and that he's good either way so they give him the benefit of the doubt.

But it is a constant criticism of opposing teams fans. I see it too. He's moving some of the time, and that's a foul on him. But I think he is very technical in his actions and he sends the right signals to the officials. He's doing "legal" screen actions while sometimes barely getting into "illegal" screen territory.

John and Karl were masters at this type of ****. Very good at knowing where the line was, very good at riding it, very good at making the officials make a judgement call that 90% of the time would go in their favor.

I laugh when opposing fans complain about Gobert’s screens because I find myself thinking the same thing on damn near each one he sets. He always seems like he’s moving to me and if it was happening to the Jazz, I’d be throwing my remote through the ****ing TV. That being said, he’s obviously well coached enough to know what he can/can’t get away with and I’ll gladly drink the tears of the salty opposition.

Yeah, then I watch us play the Grizzlies, and see the crap Draymond does, and I feel a lot less bad.

I love how this thread would make you think the Pelicans have fans, yet the arena looked as empty on TV as the Grizzlies' one.
