The only way it happens is in garbage time but this team is just a little too bad and good for that to happen.
Here's the problem:
The vets will start to let the game slip, but then the domination of the bench minus CJ comes in and puts Jazz in the game again.
This cycle repeats, but the vets get the 4th quarter. The bench of Favors and Hayward kept the game close, but the vets keep it close enough that it never gets declared garbage time.

And THAT is how you keep Burks out of the game.
 
Burks will start getting playing time after tomorrow. One/two/all three of Howard, Miles or Bell will be traded. The Jazz have been letting two of these players (Miles, Bell) have more playing time to try and showcase them for trade bait. Tomorrow we should see 2 or all 3 of them gone.

You sound like you're from tommorow....is it going to rain? I hate not having an umbrella when it rains.

Unfortunately the other teams saw the "showcased" players and are no longer returning KOC's phone calls.

Bell's last five 'showcases': 7-for-18, 1-for-7 from three
CJ: 11-for-33 (despite a pretty good 8-for-13 in the last two), 4-for-13
Howard: 18-for-46, 1-for-4

It may be a showcase of poop but it is still a showcase. Some GM will end up having to bid on it only wishing they'd passed or taken whatever was behind curtain 3 or whatever was in the little box the hand model was holding.
 
Both Howard and Bell were majorly sucking last night -- why has Corbin put Burks in the doghouse?

No one could guard Nash last night and maybe it would've been better to have Burks guard him and stop the doubling on the pick n roll.

I want to believe they do, because their needs to be a reason why Burks has not played at all in the last two...and you can't tell me it's because he's too raw, lacks talent, lacks desire, or sucks more than Raja or CJ.
