Hope this can lift your spirit somewhat... looks like he's learning the offense and being able to make the correct play (pass vs score).

but but but he did it in garbage time
his poitns dont count they are in blowout

but but he be alleyball player.

but but he will never be the team player jefferson his.

but but face it burks sucks and is selfish

This is what he has done basically when he has run the offense all season. He's a PNR specialist and Corbin at some point stop using Trey in PNR offense. It's the reason I don't understand why so many people were so critical of Burke when he was not being used properly. It's like asking Kyle Korver to create off the dribble than saying he's worthless when he's a floor spacer.

Lol at the dumbasses who are giving up on him and now claim they were all about the Greek freak. At the 9th pick, no one was thinking about him, not even the new supreme talent evaluator orangello.

There wasn't even that much Greek Freak love at 14. Very few American JF posters ever pimp international players.

It'll be the same if Exum lights it up next year-- people will be all like "I TOLDD U WE SHHOULDV DARFTED HIM" even though in actuality no one is even 10% certain as to what kind of player they will become.

FWIW I absolutely love the Trey hate. Makes it more fun to bump posts once he has the whole league turn their heads

Whoa, Whoa, whoa, here. Hold on one minute. Just...just...just give me a second here.

So,

What you are telling me...what you are trying to say...what I'm getting out of all of this is...

When you let Trey Burke play PG, he actually plays well?

What the hell? Who would of thought of that?

I'm starting to see a trend here.

We play Burks at SG, and he excels.

We play Burke at PG, and he excels.

I wonder what would happen if we let Hayward play SG, and not be a PG??

Why does Corbin want everyone to be a PG, but the actual PG???

HOLY CRAP. WHAT IS HAPPENING?

corbin's logic

trey = mario chalmers
hayward = bron

I have laughed at the love/hate relationship many Jazz fans have with Trey Burke. I wasn't on the Burke bandwagon before the draft. I liked him but I wasn't as excited as most Jazz fans were. I was upset that we gave away two picks to get him but even in summer league I thought he would be a decent player. Jazz fans who say he doesn't want to pass haven't notice how little he has the ball in his hands. Hopefully the next coach realizes he is a very good PG and lets him be the PG. I think he can average in 9+ assists if he is allowed to be the main distributor.

I didn't watch the GS game but after watching the highlights you would have thought the game was closer. My main concern with this team is DEFENSE. Great teams play very good/great defense. The Jazz have a long way to go before they are contenders if they don't learn how to play better TEAM defense. However, I think Trey is certainly capable of being the team leader and improving his defense too. Unfortunately with the new rules it makes it much harder on players to be good defenders and that is why teams have to learn how to help each other out.

warriors are worst nightmare. when they are making shots, there is nothing we can do to slow them down. we looked friggin lost. we were trading buckets. we score 2. and they drop 2 3's back to back. lol

maybe we really need to go get aaron gordon. we need somebody who can be our defensive leader. 1 nasty defender helps others tremendously.

This isn't a bad lineup:

Burke
Burks
Gordon
Favors
2015 top 3 pick

I'm much more worried about Burke's defense than his offense.

His offense will come around, I'm sure his defense ever will.

Honestly Burke/Burks/Hayward isn't a great group on the floor together. Burks need to fill the 6th man role. Where he can come in and do want he wants with the 2nd group. As for Hayward he fits as a stater if he can improve as a spot up shooter. Honestly I would look to trade him. Kanter and Favors can play together but if that's the case you want defensives wings that can space the floor. The pnr game with Burke and Favors and the pick and pop game with Burke and Kanter can be deadly with floor spacers at the 2 and 3. Especially if they are quality defenders.

I think he can get to an acceptable level on D. I'm mostly disturbed with his low steal rate. He has such good instincts and long arms I thought it would equal more steals but he really doesn't gamble. Which would be a good thing if he was a good on ball defender instead of average and a decent PNR defender instead of a bad one. Honestly you rather him gamble more on defense. I think the biggest problem with Burke is conditioning couple with a lack of understanding the importance of defense. Some players you look at and say he doesn't have the foot speed. With Trey a lot of times he isn't trying to fight over screens that's a lack of technique and worsely a lack of effort.
