Raul Neto Assists Video

This guys attempt at humor is astoundingly bad. "If Jazz are looking to play a 6' and under, they're in a great position."
The **** dude? Where did you go to school?

Yes, his very last paragraph reads:

"Unless, of course, the Jazz do sign up to play in a 6-foot and under recreational league. In that case, with these three young guys running the show, I think they'd have a great chance at winning that league's championship."

I guess that qualifies as a joke. To the writer. But, it's true that folks should not be looking at Neto as 6'4". One of my fellow Providence fans felt one of Neto's advantages over Cotton was Neto had great size for an NBA pg. Neto is taller then Cotton, by somewhere in the 1.5" range without shoes is my guesstimate.....

I think Neto will surprise everybody, I mean his passing skills get me sooooOOOO turned on!! With great offensive talent filling the rest of the floor he'd be my ideal PG for QS system. I don't think we need as much performance from our PG next year considering Alec Burks, Rodney Hood can both do that as well. Not to mention Booker had that 36 point game last year that shows he can be a scorer and not just an energy guy. Our roster looks pretty nice in comparison to last year. I'm pretty amped.

Yeah, Neto is by far the best facilitator of the 3 PG's. By far and away. I would certainly give him a good look over Burke right now.

"Burke, Cotton and Neto are each listed at 6-1, which apparently is the standard height by which all undersized guards must be listed on the roster according to some unwritten team or NBA regulation.

I say this because I've stood a couple of feet away from each one of them in interview situations, and I am pretty sure none of them are taller me. And thanks to getting shorter — and fatter — with advanced age — and bad eating habits — I barely stand 6 feet tall anymore. Which, according to the height/weight chart in the doctor's office, means I'm now 85 pounds overweight instead of just 70, unfortunately."

In 2013 at Eurobasket Neto measured at 6'0.5" w/o shoes. In shoes he was 6'2". Combined with a 6'4" wingspan that is slightly small size for an NBA PG.

For comparison Burke measured 6'1.25" in shoes with a 6'5.5" wingspan.

Thanks for sharing, love the video. One thing worries me though, those passes seem a bit risky to me. With the increase in length and athleticism on the wings, those passes might get picked off by better defenders, though Neto's short stint in summer league seems to prove otherwise. Overall, video shows he's a good facilitator with incredible court senses, I just hope he survives one of Coach Snyder's infamous glares should he throw a couple of bad passes.
